Wordle Bot
May 2023 - Oct 2023
Wordle Bot is a software developed with Python to solve wordles using the hints shown in the wordle game. It’s able to solve a wordle made by any word in under 5 guesses. It involves machine learning and other algorithms such as Information Theory and entropy. It has it’s own simulation which can be used to debug and modify the algorithm, in which it generates N (an integer) wordle games and perform the word-guessing process. At the end it will calculate the average amount of steps of N games.

Spatialized Motion Sound Localization
July 2023 - April 2024
Spatialized Motion Sound Localization (SMSL) is a self-monitoring method that simultaneously estimates camera rotation and sound source location. It uses twin models trained on synchronized audio-visual data to mimic human spatial awareness without labeled data. The visual model predicts camera rotation, while the sound model estimates sound direction using binaural sound. A unique cross-view binaural mask helps the model understand spatial changes in both modalities. SMSL also includes a simulation tool that creates N audio-visual scenarios and calculates the average accuracy, indicating high performance.

Cryptocurrency Network Simulation
Nov 2022 - Jan 2023
Our project created a simulated cryptocurrency "A+ Students" (RBJ) to study the interaction and financial behavior of crypto networks using blockchain technology. The simulation demonstrates secure, decentralized transactions in a P2P (peer-to-peer) system. Analyzing the RBJ network, we observed the impact of wallet interaction and transaction volumes on coin value. Comparison with larger networks like BNB highlighted scalability and liquidity possibilities for smaller coins. Our results show that advanced features are necessary to improve network resilience.

FRC Game Piece Detector
Dec 2022 - Mar 2023
A Python package that can be used on a co-processor (Raspberry PI or Jetson Nano) on a robot to detect game pieces. It uses Ultralytics YOLOv8 object detection model as the backbone and trained on over 1000 images of game pieces. It calculates the distance to each game pieces and the relative location of it, and the information will be sent to RoboRIO using network table. It was used in the 2023 FRC Game “CHARGED UP” and it was able to perform 3 pieces autonomous routine.

  • Brown University Summer
    Network Science
    June 2022 - July 2022
    Grade: A (94%)
I attended the Brown University pre-college program, and I took the class “Real-World Networks: Using Math to Understand Complex Systems”. I was able to learn about network science and connect with professors and students at Brown. It was great experiencing college life as a high school student and taking a college-level class, especially at a top university like Brown.
